Return Policy

​​PRODUCT RETURN POLICY

Summit 360 will accept merchandise for return from original end-user Customers with prior approval for credit or replacement only. Contingent on buyer inspection within 7 days of receipt of equipment as written in Summit 360’s Terms and Conditions of sale. A restocking fee may apply.  The customer must return such Equipment in the same condition it was in when it was initially delivered to the customer. Open or unsealed product will be subject to a restocking fee. Returns of new OEM branded equipment are subject to the return policies of the OEM. Software, maintenance contracts, support contracts, warranty contracts and other special order items may not be returned. Please note the following products are NOT returnable unless specified otherwise: custom cables, bulk cables, connectors, tools, test equipment, configured products, special orders, software, licensing keys, and discontinued items.

RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA)

To begin the return process, contact a Summit 360 Account Executive to request an RMA. Upon approval, the customer will receive the RMA via email.

ALL RMA’s expire thirty (30) days after issuance unless otherwise specified; therefore, all returned products must be RECEIVED at Summit 360 within thirty (30) days of the RMA issue date. Otherwise, the product will be refused or returned with any shipping cost billed to the original buyer. The customer must enclose the RMA document with the return. All returns must include the RMA Number clearly marked on the shipping label (DO NOT WRITE ON ANY BOXES). Returns not properly marked, as well as any products and/or quantities that don’t match the original RMA, may be refused.

NON-WORKING / DEFECTIVE PRODUCT RETURNS

Upon approval, Non-Working/Defective Product returns will be processed in accordance with applicable Summit 360’s Peak Select Lifetime Warranty or OEM warranties and guidelines. Summit 360’s Warranty responsibilities vary depending on when the issue is reported to Summit 360 relative to the original ship date receipt date. Any non-working custom or specialty equipment returns must be requested within 30 days of original receipt date and are subject to a restocking fee.

Advance Replacement: If an RMA is issued for a Peak Select Lifetime Warranty Non-Working/Defective Product, an advance replacement will be provided on a best-effort basis. Replacement and repair lead times vary.

RETURN OF OEM BRANDED EQUIPMENT FOR WHICH SUMMIT 360 IS AN AUTHORIZED RESELLER

Summit 360 will make its best effort to assist with the return by providing the customer with the appropriate manufacturer contact information. After the customer contacts the manufacturer directly, the manufacturer will determine whether to repair or replace the Non-Working/Defective Product.

WORKING PRODUCT RETURNS

Any OEM returns are subject to the OEM return policy. Products for which Summit 360 is an independent reseller, return requests must be made within thirty (30) days of the original receipt date. Shipping and restocking fees will apply.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Any OEM product is subject to applicable shipping charges as dictated by the OEM return policy.

Summit 360 will be responsible for the shipping charges associated with the replacement product for a Peak Select Lifetime Warranty Nonworking/Defective Product, as well as the return shipment of the Non-Working/Defective Product back to Summit 360, provided Summit 360’s preferred carrier and account number are used as outlined in the RMA instructions.

Any other non-working product return, Summit 360 will be responsible for the shipping charges and will provide shipping labels provided the return is requested within 30 days of product receipt and product is shipping from original receipt address.

For all Working Product returns, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges and risk of damage during transit of the returned goods.

RESTOCKING FEES

All returns are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee, with the exception of Non-Working/Defective Product returns. OEM products may be subject to additional fees as dictated by the OEM’s return policy. If Non-Working/Defective product is returned and found to be in working condition after testing, replacement product, restocking and shipping fees will be billed to the customer.

UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS

Any returned product received by Summit 360 that does not meet the above-mentioned requirements will be classified as an unauthorized return. All unauthorized returns may be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. Summit 360 will not be liable for any loss or damage to unauthorized returns.
