Warranty

PEAK SELECT LIFETIME WARRANTY:

  • Summit 360’s guarantee that Peak Select qualified New Surplus and Pre-Owned Cisco and Meraki products arrive in operational condition right out of the box.  Summit 360 is an independent reseller of Cisco Systems, Inc.
  • Free advanced replacements. If Summit 360 cannot find an advanced replacement or repair the equipment, Summit 360 will send a comparable model.
  • Free two-way ground shipping with Summit 360 provided shipping labels.
  • Applicable products:
    • Cisco Networking products purchased after 1/1/16.
    • Cisco Phones purchased after 5/1/20 (Excludes Cisco IP Phone 8821 model and Cisco Webex 840 IP Phone CP-840, see limited warranty).
    • For Cisco Meraki brand networking products purchased after 10/1/22.

PEAK SELECT LIFETIME WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • OEM branded equipment sold by Summit 360 as an authorized reseller.
    • Manufacturer warranty overrides.
  • Non Cisco or non Meraki equipment not covered by manufacturer warranty.
  • Cisco IP Phone 8821 model and Cisco Webex 840 IP Phone CP-840 model (see limited warranty).
  • Normal wear and tear. I.e. scratches or other minor cosmetic damage, minor vibration, port wear.
  • Disk drive failure (see limited warranty).
  • Configuration of product.
  • Damage or inoperability due to improper installation.
  • Failures caused by improper handling, mistreatment, fluid spills, accident, flood, act of God, lightning, power surges, incorrect electrical voltage (over or under-voltage), or any other means of electrical stress.
  • Product that has been modified by anyone other than the manufacturer or Summit 360 service partner.
  • Product that has been used for any purpose not intended or authorized by the original equipment manufacturer.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Summit 360 provides a Limited Warranty on Cisco 8821 phones, CP-840 phones and disk drives. Cisco Wireless IP Phone 8821 models and Cisco Webex 840 IP Phone CP-840 are eligible for a one-year Limited Warranty beginning on the date of shipment to the original buyer and is subject to the exclusions, conditions, terms, and disclaimers listed in this document.

Any and all disk drive failures are covered for a 90-day Limited Warranty period beginning on the date of shipment to the original buyer and is subject to the exclusions, conditions, terms, and disclaimers listed in this document.

DEALER WARRANTY

Summit 360 will offer a 30-day warranty for dealer to dealer (wholesale) sales. Any e-commerce sales follow the corresponding e-commerce terms and conditions.

CONDITIONS

  • The Lifetime Warranty applies to the original buyer and is not transferable.
  • Buyer agrees to operate and maintain the equipment according to the specifications and recommendations provided by the equipment manufacturer, including but not limited to: proper voltage conditioning to prevent damage from surges and brownouts, adequate ventilation and cleaning to prevent component overheating, and operation and storage within specified temperature parameters.
  • All submitted claims are to be verified by a Summit 360 Technician.
  • Summit 360 will pay for the shipping costs to ship Replacement Equipment to the buyer, but only if shipped to the same location to which Summit 360 initially delivered the Equipment or another location with comparable shipping costs. Replacement orders will be shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) using Summit 360’s preferred carrier, freight prepaid, excluding import duties, taxes, and fees, where applicable.
  • If Buyer returns equipment claiming that it was defective, but it is determined not to have been defective, Buyer shall be liable for all shipping costs associated with such improper return. In addition, if Summit 360 issued Buyer a credit for such improperly returned equipment, Summit 360 may cancel the credit and if Summit 360 sent replacement equipment for such improperly returned equipment, Buyer shall be liable for the cost of such replacement equipment and Summit 360 shall invoice Buyer accordingly.

DISCLAIMERS

In no event shall Summit 360’s liability under this warranty exceed the cost of repair or replacement of the defective product. The warranty and disclaimers above constitute Summit 360’s sole and exclusive liability hereunder and is the exclusive remedy for defective products. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express and implied, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

In no event will Summit 360, or its employees be liable for any lost revenue, lost profits, loss of data, business interruption or for any special, indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive damages, however caused and regardless of the theory of liability, arising out of the use or inability to use the product.

For purposes of this lifetime warranty, and as a result of the nature of the products covered by this warranty, “lifetime” is defined from the date the product is shipped by Summit 360 to the original purchaser for as long as the original purchaser continues to utilize the hardware. The total amount of liability for Summit 360 will not exceed the price of the product.

The provisions in this warranty are not intended to limit, modify, reduce, disclaim or exclude any mandatory requirements provided by states. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
